I’m struggling to find games on OGS and wondering when the best time to look for games is. I want to play my ranking (22k-18k)… Ideally I would like to see some sort of hotspot chart. So I can see when the best times to play is.
If such a thing does not exist - is there are chart of the number of lives games count every 15 minutes ?
BTW Please don’t suggest using the API , questions on how to use it dont get answered very quickly and there is no cookbook of example applets etc.
If you want to play just play when you want.
You can try this automatch filter to fast find any game with opponent rank 22-18k
It doesn’t to my knowledge.
You may consider that a big part are American players and after that European players too if this may help in determining when they are online. (Avoiding sleeping hours)
There are some players from Asia and Australia too but in much reduced quantities.
I use it already but quite often I am waiting for 15-20 minutes. I typically play in the evenings in the UK. 7-11pm.
When you select watch games you can see that there are maybe 187 live games but only 6 of those players might be 22-18k.
Have you considered using the API? 
If you expand that window to 25-15k (possibly allowing handicap), you might reduce those wait times by a factor of 2.5?
