9x9 tengen opening probe response

I was watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTmyQVsSTw4&t=1386s and am confused why they suggest move 12 from the second branch of https://online-go.com/review/451310 , where I have written down how I would respond. These are not favourable for white.

Edit: I can’t manage to unprivate the review, so here’s the sgf. I hope this works.

I can’t speak for @xhu98, but I can tell you what I was thinking. If Black captures at J5 in this position, White would continue at F6, F4 B3, taking the big point that your variation gives to Black, and leaving the right half of the board as aji. If Black then pushes and cuts with E6 E7, F7, White gets a free atari at F8 and can then slide under at D2. By wrapping around both the upper and lower sides like this, White can keep a good position.

Makes sense, thank you!
