About half way down it discusses how this particular refinement matches one of the GO AI’s without actually being optimised to the game/rules.

Bots are very good. The best Chess playing bot can beat almost all humans.
Almost all humans? What human can still beat the top bots?

What about humans drawing against top bots? More likely?
I doubt it. It’s not like the top bots are only beating the pros by 0.5 (“result > score” endgame play notwithstanding).
