I think it would be better to remove the cancelled games since they serve no purpose.
If that’s not feasible, to hide them by default.
but some annuled games are actually long and were annulled for reasons that are not “cancel” or “timeout in the beginning”

It makes sense to remove games with fewer than 8 moves 
Leaving them in place is very important for moderation purposes.

I know that if both players make one move, the game already counts.
I don’t think it’s fair, there should be a limit, for example, 8, and any game below that shouldn’t be counted.
Games below 6 moves are auto-annulled by the system.

Regarding the annulled games, they should at least be hidden by default, I think they aren’t at the moment 
No, they provide valuable information to any person who is vetting the player, perhaps before accepting a challenge from them. A lot of losses by timeout or disconnection indicate they are an escaper; a lot of cancellations and/or timeouts suggest they may be a “cancellation troll.” A lot of scored games that have been annulled may indicate that the person is a score cheat or a staller (or has had the bad luck to play against a lot of cheats).
