Application for a new bot account

Hello OGS Moderators.

I’d like to set up a bot account.

Bot’s profile: kata1-bot

My profile: 3KyuThai[

About the bot:

- Engine: KataGo (open source, GitHub - lightvector/KataGo: GTP engine and self-play learning in Go · GitHub), running locally on my own PC (NVIDIA GPU, OpenCL backend).

- Network: kata1-b18c384nbt-s9996604416-d4316597426 (official KataGo release network).

- Board size: 19x19 only for now.

- Time settings: live games, 20 min main time + 5x30s byoyomi (happy to adjust based on OGS bot norms)

This is a hobby project — I run KataGo on my own machine and would like the bot to be available on OGS for casual/rated 19x19 games against human players.

Happy to follow whatever bot etiquette rules are required (accepted/rejected time settings, rate limits on concurrent games, etc.).

Huh, lots of new bot today. Should be done, thank you for providing ready links :slight_smile:

I am not aware about any “official” bot rules, common sense should be good enough - as in accept such settings the bot can actually handle, and no rude bot chats :slight_smile:
