badukteacher.com — pro-level Go teachers from Asia, without language barrier

Hi players, I would like to shill a Go teacher platform I have been working on recently:

It is a marketplace for pro-level Go teachers from Asia. You can book lessons for teaching game, game review, and topic lessons (e.g. joseki, opening theory, endgame techniques etc). Lessons will happen in our virtual classroom, which has live speech-to-text + translation and an interactive board. Go lessons between people who speak different languages are now possible. badukteacher.com itself doesn’t come with a game server, so the game will be played in server like OGS, and then you go back to badukteacher.com to do the game review in real-time.

We have onboarded 3 pro-level teachers for now, and more to come. All of our teachers were trained professionally in dojos for years when they were young, so they have solid foundation and can share insights & suggestions that will help you improve your game.

I have taken some lesson from all 3 of them, and the lessons were very useful (it is interesting that all 3 of them gave me the same kind of feedback on one topic).

Here is a sample trial lesson I did with Im Sang-Gyu 임상규 3p from Korea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXD7h0si2Fo

And also from Jang Hyun-Gyu 장현규 (fspirit) 7d Amateur from Korea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPKJBX7RkAs

Disclaimer: I speak and understand a bit of Korean, so you would see me being able to react without the translation in most cases. The 2 Teachers basically don’t speak/understand any English. My mother tongue is Cantonese [Chinese dialect used in Hong Kong], so my English is quite broken 😃

Lesson booking is open now, hope you can get the best out of it! In case there are no available timeslots that suit you yet, you may consider to join the waitlist so that we can keep in touch.
