Can't update my email address

I have changed my email address and cannot update it. When I go into settings and select “Update email” it declares my new email address “invalid” and will not let me change from my old, non-functioning email, to my new email. How can I update my email address and have the update accepted?


AFAIK the form only checks if @ and (dot)domain is present without any excess spaces. If you are typing it in correctly I do not know why it would reject any address…

Only other solution I can think of is if you do not mind telling me your address in PM I can try changing it from my end.
