Chinese rules Handicap on 9 x 9

In round two of the Carl Douglas Memorial Kung Fu Fighting Championship, I got an eight stones handicap:

Needless to say, that’s crazy on a 9 x 9 board.

So, I think that in the huge operation of developing OGS, you may have missed this little part.

Yah, we have a bug in how handicaps are handled for tournaments… for non-tournament games we use an appropriate handicap for 9x9 and 13x13 so we’ll get this fixed up in 4.0

To my great disappointment, I discovered that the handicap has no bug in normal, rated games. I was hoping to exploit it for a while.
