KGS is a cool server, and we can definitely learn a bit from them. I wonder why they don’t develop it anymore.

William Shubert aka wms is developing it further, the JAVA application as well as an HTML5 client … cf. his KGS dev blog on Google+, thing is only that he’s apparently doing it all alone.
