I seem to have been disqualified going from round 2 to round 3, and I was wondering why:
Not upset or anything, just a little confused, as I didn’t lose the game by timeout, which is AFAIK the way one normally gets disqualified.
Who are you in this tournament? Which name?
OmnipotentEntity I got a first round bye, won my match in the second round, and was disqualified.
Possibly the Tournament Director, @Kaw_Ninja, is the person to ask?

Yeah you should contact the organizator because I don’t understand why you not only got a bye for the first round but a disqualification too! I mean why disqualification if you have a bye?
If you are already disqualified in first then it remains so now I don’t know why you still get a second round game. All is bit weird to me.

I’ll reach out to the tournament director, but they seem to not have logged into OGS for at least 20 days. Moreover, I’m not entirely certain they speak English, as they more or less seem to exclusively speak Russian on the platform.
I did not notice that I was disqualified during the bye in round 1. That is curious. As PRHG notes here: Potential tournament bug/oversight it might be that the tournament is only displaying the final results, rather than the round results. So if I got disqualified during round 2 for whatever reason it might just be showing that status for round 1 erroneously.
The game I played in round 2 was a rather unremarkable one, about what you’d expect from an 4k vs an 18k. I thought the other player played well for his rank, so I said as much. I can’t imagine being disqualified for conduct or anything? But I’ll let you know if he responds.
