For joseki, there is an inexact weight towards more recent games while still accounting for traditional play patterns.
For fuseki, I am not sure we had any intention of variation ordering in the same way we want to do for joseki but fuseki explorer hasn’t really been discussed or worked on at all. I would definitely say micro #1 just for relevance and usefulness sake though.

That’s a really valid point, that fuseki isn’t, and possibly shouldn’t be, ordered in the same way as joseki
