Do games with no time limits expire?

I remember there used to be a rule that games with no time limits would time out after some time of not making a move (30 days? 3 months? I do not know).

Is that still so? I had a few games where no one made a move for almost 4 months, yet they were not terminated.

Don’t get me wrong, I very much prefer no time limits to be truly no time limits. I just wondered about the answer to this question.

The average species lifespan for mammals is 1M years which gives us about 750k years. Suggest begin negotiations there and dig in your heels at 75.
