I recently lost a game because of the “error submitting move” and the timing kept going. I lost by time. This is very frustrating. If the server detected that an error had occurred, why couldn’t it have stopped the timing immediately? Is this a default policy to keep timing even when there is an error? I should quit playing on OGS. Maybe next time this error will occur at my last move of the game and I will be completely screwed.
“Error submitting move” is probably a connection issue. Make sure you’re on a stable internet connection, wired if possible. The server won’t be able to detect a connection problem.
