Flashing bug with variations

Hi,

After a game has been counted, hoovering any of the presented variations results in every single stone on the board flashing on and off like a christmas tree. I have not managed to fix it, updated all my pilotes, tried to clear cache, and whatnot, nothing works.
Many of my friends are experiencing the same issue.

Does anyone have any idea of how to solve it ?

Regards,
Matt

Hey, can you let us know what device type, operating system, browser.

If your browser is out of date, first thing is to update to the latest version.

Hey,

I’m using Windows 11, version 22H2.

My laptop build :

|Processeur|AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz|
|Mémoire RAM installée|8,00 Go (5,86 Go utilisable)|
|Type du système|Système d’exploitation 64 bits, processeur x64|

My browser is Microsoft Edge Version 108.0.1462.46 (Version officielle) (64 bits) (up to date)

Supernova

Is this what you mean?

It happens because some UI elements disappear when you hover on variations.

Yes that’s the issue I’ve got, be it in my own games (in review mode or when the game is over), or someone else’s game when their game is over…

I’ve seen the same phenomenon.

I’d say leave the “Sync” button visible at all times but greyed out when not applicable.

what is that sync button everybody is talking about ? I’m not sure…

As far as I understand it:

You can see the “sync” button if you visit a review or demo … syncing lets you “follow” the reviewer so that you see them move back and forth and do other variations.

If you then click a variation in the chat, or one of the moves in the move tree, you stop “following” the reviewer and thus are out of sync … that’s where and when the sync button appears, so you can switch back to following the reviewer.

If the reviewer has left the review, then “sync” brings you back to the move where the reviewer left.
