Forum search - kanji problem

Most of Chinese and Japanese words are short. But they are not less complex.
Its impossible to search it.

google can search 1 symbol. Is it more costly or not really to reduce it to 1 ?

We’ll try it at 1 and see.

1 is fine for CJK, but can get pretty costly for latin languages. We’ll see how it does, it seem ok’ish with a few quick tests though for the time being.
