It doesn’t help much to link to the only Japanese Kagaribi website.
What do you mean by that? The survey is in the Google Document. I just linked the sources as references.

If you want to locate more non-Asian players, linking to a Japanese website is not useful for most of hese players will not understand it.
Yes, the GD survey is in English, but what the Karagibi project is, remains vague.

I am not the one starting the project so I can only convey and help translate. Karagibi means bonfire in Japanese, and it was a joint startup adventure by Doctor Yamanaka and Kansai Kiin pro Hibiki Mishima, and their aims are to promote Go, develop everyday products for Go players, as well as hold Go tournaments and events in the future. And they are already selling coffee beans and Go Caffe in several places in Japan. The online portion is more like a virtual bonfire for Go players to join together and share their experiences. They only started in March this year, in their early stage of market survey. I cannot say much about their future plan or global reach, just a friend helping out. If there is more interest, I can help translate more.
