Am curious … This question was asked long ago (8 yrs) but OGS’s algorithm may have changed since:
If you play against a markedly stronger opponent without any handicap and/or komi adjustment (e.g., in a ladder), does a win count for more in your rating than if you were playing with the benefit of some handicap and/or komi adjustment (e.g., an auto-handicap & auto-komi challenge)?
I’d guess the answer is “yes” - but wondering if that’s still the case.
