I accidentally put a random number under my username and i cant get rid of it

so, I noticed a little spot under my username where I could put something in. so I put in what rank I thought I am and now I am trying to get rid of it but every time I reload my profile, it just shows back up. how do i get rid of this?

never mind. it only disappeared after waiting 5 minutes for it to register
