chinese rules only play second fiddle to stone scoring (group tax)

Please tell the devs to add stone scoring to the list of rules sets pls

Bonus: stone scoring is a good way for newcomers to learn go ^^

oo, and also to add on to this, i want to set komi to 0.5 for white

I think it’s just a fun way to play, especially for beginers

Pure Go 純碁, it should be pretty easy to implement pure stone scoring, most works will be the UI (group tax would be more problematic)

I wasn’t expecting the part that handles rulesets to be open source. Is it possible to add a ruleset without touching any of the closed source code?

Why not? AFAIK online-go/goban contains nearly all the logic having to do with the game itself.

i think it’s only available if you pay

Seems like custom komi is only available for unranked games. Probably because the ranking system can’t handle custom komi yet.

Custom komi for ranked games has never been an option on OGS.

stone scoring would only work on a 19x19 board if there was “auto move” after move ~200
