Did your close your game tab while you were doing the review? If so, then the system considered that you disconnected from your game.

Why would you be reviewing the game while it’s still ongoing?

I was trying to play on as I help to correct my opponents mistake i had a much higher rank and he died a big part and played 2 opening variation wrongly

i do not think so i thought i was analysising the game but i actually was reviewing it instead

There’s something a bit strange about this.

I can imagine you could click the review button instead of analyse by accident, except it brings you to a different page entirely.

Yet you managed to play on for 30 more moves after the review started. Review started at move 49 and game ended on move 80.

So either you were using the review while the game was ongoing or you made the same mistake more than once of going into a review instead, and for some reason didn’t realise it the last time.

I killed a big group so I thought it would be nice to correct my opponents mistake(he made a lot of mistakes on the wrong following moves) so i went to review then when i see a notification tat it is my turn i would cintinue to play but this time the game just ended despite me still online

Right, then because it’s a different page as @jlt said, I would say that that is counted as the game not being open, and so you can lose by disconnection because of that.

I would encourage you not to use the reviews during the game, as for example things like this can happen.

I would suggest focusing on the game and you can review it afterwards to correct their mistakes.

if tab with game is not actually opened for 1 minute, button to end the game appears that opponent can click.
