I’ve noticed that some days the Katrain bots are available to play against, but some days they don’t show up in the AI player dropdown menu. Seems like maybe every other day they are available. Is this normal, if so why? Or am I experiencing some type of bug?
It is normal. Most bots are run by our users, not OGS. They volunteer their computes to support different bots, and sometimes they just can’t for a while 
You can find out the administrator in the bot’s profile and feel free to contact them if you need to.
