It was scheduled to start about a week ago and I think that it needs an admin to manually start the first round.

If it started on time it wouldn’t be the longest tournament possible, would it?

Clock: Japanese Byo-Yomi: Clock starts with 4 weeks main time, followed by 300 4 weeks periods. Pauses on weekends.
If I understand correctly, someone who never plays a move would timeout after 1204 weeks, that is 1204×7=8428 days. Because of pauses on weekends, that’s about 8428/5×7 ≃ 12800 days ≃ 32 years and 4 months. I suppose a player who gets white each time and whose opponents never make a move, could win the tournament 387 years, long after every participant died.
