I could not open the ogs homepage and got an error message 502
Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, yesterday late at night (European time), games and chat completely shut down. It happened first for my opponent, so I cancelled a game after the first move.
And yes, 502 error messages all around.
Sorry for the troubles guys, @matburt and myself are trying to get to the bottom of these issues.

I experienced that too, but in addition find that OGS is frequently down with less specific error messages (just cannot be reached). This happens in bursts, perhaps once every several weeks. The error might last for a few minutes, then OGS can be reached again for a short time, then it is unreachable again, and so forth.
