When your confidence interval falls below 160, maybe 2-5 more ranked games for you

9x9 counts towards this just the same as 19x19 so if you wish to remove [?] quickly just play a few ranked live 9x9.

To elaborate BHydden’s comment: the rank on your profile is determined by a Glicko rating system, where it “guess” how strong you are based on your game history.
As you play more games there are more history records and the system is able to guess your rank more correctly. Before a certain amount of games is played however, there are too little information to base on, so the guess is too unreliable and is displayed as [?]
