Nevermind, I figured it out. I focused too much on capturing rather than expanding territory and using better tactics, which ultimately got me trapped at the top while my opponent expanded. Looks like I need to do more fuseki, joseki, and tsumego problems.

Also, try not to play in your own territory (throwing garbage in your own backyard, as they say). Once you made room for two eyes at the top, you should have made an attack at the bottom. Otherwise, you did well in the beginning.
