So I thought the game was going pretty well and I feel like I won a bunch of large battles but somehow still lost the war.

I wasn’t even part of that game but I still enjoyed the review. Had a look at it, because I am of similar rank to see if I can spot some of my mistakes. I liked the use of the drawing tool to visualize influence / territory. Will try that out in one of my games.
