Folks,
there have been cases of shady accounts asking – in game chat and/or PMs – to connect with them via Discord and WhatsApp, sometimes with offers to earn money or similar.
Please apply your common sense, just as you’d do with emails from people you don’t know. Similar of course also with “friend” requests from people you don’t know.
If you ever get such suspicious messages, please report them privately, i.e. NOT here.

Scammers know about our needs and wants …
i have learned in past that even long standing “friends” on the internet can be heavily invested in trust, then they hit with scam. (in diablo i was friend to a person for at least one year before they attempted to exploit me.
I usually ignore weird messages

Deutscher Go Online Bund discord server has also been seeing an influx of scam posts recently. Some of them haven’t been deleted by the mods for days.
Yes, I also noticed that and tried to notify admins there.
(But I don’t know how to do that @@admin thing there.

But just checked, and it seems they removed the recent scam posts.
