I created a game with rank restriction maximum to 21k and was attacked by 20k
Today, I restricted it to 20k maximum and was attacked by 18k
Had this error only 2 times.
My experience is that the rank restriction is valid for the overall rating, not the rating in a certain discipline. Whether or not this is a good idea with the overall rating mostly being 1-3k better than the individual rating in blitz, live or corr.
He was 18k in both live and overall. His rank changing fast. Restriction function using old data, I think.
You can cancel the game before 9 stones are played (in a 9x9) and it will not count towards your ranking.
