Suggested Change to Automatic Tournament Clock Information Presentation

Sounds exciting when you say it like that doesn’t it? :wink: My hope is to reduce the number of Time-outs in Fast Correspondence Tournaments. Here’s how:

Currently tournaments include an automatically generated statement about the Clock settings. eg:


But if the tournament does not pause on weekends it looks like this:


making it very easy for participants to overlook that the clock will tick on the weekend.

Given that Weekend Pause is on by default for automatic sitewide tournaments I feel it would be well worth while having a simple ‘Does NOT pause on weekends’ added to the Clock statement where applicable. Looking like this(minus the red line):
