I was organising a house move, so I was out of action for a month or two, and I didn’t have the presence of mind to pause it myself. Our game is now proceeding normally again, and I’m glad to still be in the tournament.

Just in case you’re not aware of the feature, you don’t have to pause games in such cases, you can use your vacation days.

Last week we had one completed game, this week 2, so if we keep doubling the number of completed games, the first round should be done in 5 more weeks. Somehow I don’t think this is that valuable of a prediction

It just occurred to me that we will surely keep this thread for discussing the progress of the tournament throughout the years. So without much effort this will most likely become one of the longest (non-forum game) threads. No doubt those who will be still posting here when the tournament nears its end will be close friends (or maybe close enemies) by that time.
