Tournament created multiple matches for round 2, thus many players disqualified

Created a tournament for my after-school club yesterday. Round 1 went as expected, but when round 2 began, I noticed that many of us had two different matches that were created at once. On the tournament page, only one pairing was shown, so when we clicked the ? to join the tournament match, half of the players ended up getting disqualified for running out of time as black in the second match they were unaware of.

These were my settings:

Many of the games that caused the DQs still don’t appear on the pairings at all as far as I can tell. But you can track them down from the players history. It says the games were annulled but still DQed them from the tournament.

Any ideas for what I did wrong? The kids seemed to really enjoy the idea of the tournament but were quite discouraged when a chunk of them got DQed and I had to make a new tournament on the fly really quick for the last 30 minutes of the meeting.

For what it’s worth, I had the same bug about the same time in a non-tournament game. It seems to not have recurred? If it was indeed the same thing, the good news is that it wasn’t tournament-related and you should be able to try again another day. Hopefully they are up for it too, I know having an activity bomb for reasons beyond your control is never great :frowning:

Same thing happened again this week :frowning: , this time when attempting Double Elimination instead of Swiss

Waited until Round 4 for it to happen at least, but it gave many remaining players multiple matches, ended the tournament early, and the standings don’t really reflect the results either.
