… when you quit playing Go and find yourself utterly lost :confounded:.

Why does everyone think leaving you behind is a simple thing?
They cannot fathom how I become lost every time I think of you.
People say: “You don’t know what you have until its gone.”
My Truth? I know what I had, but I never thought I’d lose it.

Thinking of you is a poison I drink often.
No words can explain the way that I’m missing you.
Words cannot describe what I feel inside.
It’s hard to sleep when your heart is at war with your mind.

I lose sleep because of thoughts about you.
Now I wake up every day thinking of you.
Thinking of you day and night has become a habit of mine.

I began to wonder how long you’d been on my mind.
Then it occurred to me… since I met you, you’ve never left.
I like thinking of you because when I do I always smile.

Perhaps you’re not with me now,
But you’re with me in my thoughts and dreams.
Thoughts about you are my constant happiness.

Whenever the dark, lonely nights threaten my heart,
Your memories are the brightest stars,
Enlightening the hope of togetherness deep down in me.

If you could understand me, I would want you to know one thing…
That when I picture myself happy, it’s with you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:.

Or you install a dedicated graphics card for her with a similar scenario. If she is a heavy gamer.

You know you are a go addict when you enter a voting booth, examine the ballot, and, distressed by the obvious imbalance of power, you shade in enough circles to even things out. Plenty of indiscriminate pincering and counter-pincering.

And thus go begins to undermine democracy. Hey, nobody said this stuff comes without a price.

… you think the fighting, lasers, and explosions in Star Wars are amazing, but know the series could be completely elevated to new heights, if they but handled the battles in a different format

… you see this in a park and think: “it would be perfect if we just could engrave a goban on it!”

Dupont Circle, a small park in a street circle in Washington, DC, has (or had, I haven’t been there in 30 years) chess boards engraved in stone furniture like this.It was a very popular hangout for hustlers who would play for anything from $1 to $5 per game. They were fairly strong, ranging from 1700 to low expert level I would guess.
