LOL itās true though
They look like the team of a tech startup
Youāre right, but in Fascism Explained Mr Beat literally says, āFascism is the idea that the group is more important than the individualā. Thatās about as communist as it gets.
I think you have communism backwards.
āThe group is more important than the individualā => preserving the society, the system and the economy is more important than preserving the individual => everyone for themselves and let the unlucky starve.
ācommunismā => we should put our resources together so that we can share with everyone
āPlayback on other websites has been disabled by the video ownerā Who does that? Like, whatās the point.
Our liberal (in the sense of pro free market) government does a lot of stuff, such as providing policies and budgets for defence, police, education, science, infrastructure, housing, health care, social benefits, pensions, underdeveloped countries, climate change reduction, etcetera.
But I donāt think anyone here would call our government communist or socialist. What they do is just what most governments do, regardles of political ideology.
That being said, the actual socialists in our parliament would probably want to modify the budgets, such as spend less on defence and more on social benefits.
We havenāt had actual communists in our parliament since the collapse of the Soviet Union, so I think this is a pretty marginal group in the Netherlands.
Seems related to figuring out how to prevent cheating in chess and Goā¦
The appalling aspect of this is that it quotes people who are brashly proud of the fact that they are cheats and clods who donāt know how to write and donāt care to learn.
I know for a fact that the CSE (Canadian NSA/CISA) hires people that have gotten caught illegally hacking companies/software/what have you, and offers them a 6 figure salary as opposed to going to jail. I suspect there is some sort of contractual agreement where you have to work for a certain time or else you just go to jailā¦
I wouldnāt be surprised if a company was looking to hire these individuals to help write AI for something. Could be a video game, could be anti-AI-based AI, etc.
On condition of anonymity. Not that proud Iād say!
To be noted, there is a difference between āI hacked something thanks to my own hacking skillsā, and āI cheated on an exam by using an AI software developed by someone elseā.
I donāt care about the cheaters, I mean the people making tools to enable it and defeat current anti-cheating tools.
Not that we have to keep up with all the chess news but
itās not about cheating but more a mishap at the board
Hilarious. As Caruana said in the very beginning
The great US of A. Always a show.
Rarely see anything like that in go. Asians are too mannered.
Though especially in the West the bad habit of playing with the stones is strong. I remember playing in a tournament and my opponent took hoshi stone from the board to play with it. But we arenāt grandmasters so no one filmed us.
