And no matter how bad the score is for you, you always retain the right to go to counting.
Opponent got to live with it ![]()
It would be ok for life to be pointless if at least living was decent. So you could say, yeah, it was pointless but at least I lived a nice life. Or you could say, yeah, it was hard but at least I accomplished X so it was all worth it. Neither is anywhere close. Before I hoped maybe itāll work out somehow, and look at me now.
The following people accomplished something in their lives:
Were they, or are they happier than average? I donāt think so. You donāt have to kill a big group to win a game, you can also grind point by point. Live a simple life, content yourself with small achievements, and encourage other people to progress towards little goals. Each of these actions may be āworth 1 pointā, but the end result may be satisfying.

It seems like some parts of the world are news black holesā¦
Frequently people bring up to me a celebrity or other as an example of having it all, a ānice lifeā, with minimum effort and how my life lacks comparing.
To which I reply, me, you, have complete strangers who care if we live or die more than some of the āaccomplishedā people care for their own family.
I post a good meme and 3 people laughed thanks to me?
My chicken soup turned out delicious?
I spotted a self-atari?
I didnāt, but reminded myself that itās not the end of the world?
Day not wasted, letās see tomorrow. ![]()
Thatās unbelievable.
If nothing changes itās mainly his fault.
His work is supposed to change something, maybe a little, but something nonetheless.
Other than your bank savings, of course.
50% itās by 2026 and 50% itās after. But weāll hit it soon so why worry about it.

- maybe not exactly pg lyrics
but contains
Know that being green is hot (itās hot)
Being green is cool (itās cool)
Eat your salad, save the planet
Tried to get the meaning of life, but resigned on this. So donāt get overwhelmed by that. Try doing what you like and enjoying some of its beauties (sky, nature, food, music, go⦠)
One of the guideline i practice is to give more as what i receive. If so i am alive.
But thatās the trick, nothing is enjoyable when one lives like this.
In real life, 0+0=2. When two people with meaningless lives care for each other, their lives suddenly become meaningful. Not everyone has a spouse or a family (or a satisfying marital or family life) though. Intearcting with a community whose members share the same interests may be a good substitute.
I would say 0+0=? for every new person and thatās part of the charm. ![]()
Btw I found my struggles eased a bit when I stopped expecting enjoyment and/ or meaning as a prerequisite for my life.
It just is there. Iām just trying to go to scoring
(and Iām serious about the pettiness part
)
Also the non-attachement part of Buddhism has helped.
some more about that
I was listening to someoneās content on the matter, and they were saying something along the lines of
If your new car gets scratched, why worry? It was always supposed to happen, it just happened at a different moment (sooner) than you expected.
For some reason this stuck with me.
speaking about the meaning of life in what is, practically, a gaming forum I think this is appropriate:
Small victories still count ![]()
There is a diversity in lives that could inspire you. There are people who live very differently as you. Some have much worse access as you have. No view, no legs, no money, no family⦠They still put an incredible energy to enjoy life beyond that. Some have more as you, but more means you have to manage it. Can become overwehlming. At the end we are nothing, we all vanish as a grain of sand, who will remember you in a few centuries (even less, decades)?
A friend of mine sent me this vid and Iād thought of sharing it in the relaxing videos thread. Iāve tried D&D and found it boring, but I think it would be awesome to play one of this guyās campaigns.
Look at all of that, how much stuff he has, it seems he turned D&D into his lifeās work. Players even fly to play the game, did I get that right? I think itās a big achievement. He did something great.
@Equinus_Ocho I think D&D is one of those things that sound much more exciting than the process of them. Like hiking.
Anyway, heās a two good videos on Ukraine. I think people like Jeth or Conrad might enjoy these because this guy is a really tedious philosopher. Or if you donāt like this one topic, maybe other videos would be more interesting. For me those arenāt particularly exciting, because philosophy is so boring. I watched ones about Kant and commodification, donāt remember single thing.
