Since we both downloaded a part of the game ID space, I’d be interested if our results were any different, like if either side has games missing that are present on the other side?
I ended up also redownloading some of the 409 game IDs. I turns out there were only 5 of them, and it seems like the failure code is retriable after all, despite being a 4xx code. I did also spot check some of the games that failed with error code 400 and the ones I checked still fail with that, so I’m guessing that’s a more permanent failure.
If you do end up checking for consistency, then https://p6drad-teel.net/~siim/tmp/ogs-dump-2025/dump.log has the logs for my downloading, where error codes other than 400 should be either retried or logged individually, and for 400 they would not be retried automatically, but anything other than 403 and 404 should be mentioned explicitly with the game ID (but still not retried - except if manually at the very end).

SGFs are still being generated, and should be posted in the next while. I’ll update the original thread (Can we get an SGF database dump?) and internet archive when both are available.
