Annulled Games in Ladders

I’ve just gone down to the bottom of the ladder again, and 3/3 games have ended in cancelation. I’ve asked each opponent why, and one responded “sorry, I don’t play long games”

I think I need to change my position on this - people are getting stuck in the ladder and don’t realize it’s because they cancel… maybe the solution is not to change the rules, but maybe to have a popup that says “Hey you canceled, but you’re still on the ladder. Would you like to drop from the ladder too?”
