I’m pretty sure the bug still remains, ‘weekend pause’ + ‘no time limit’ will result in potentially never-ending game
But if you dont want the game to ever end by time, is to put the game on pause and never resume it. You can still play moves and such, but the clock never runs ^^
Thanks _KoBa…. Leave it to me to NOT think of the obvious (pausing the game) - This explains why I’m no good at the game of Go (i can’t think of the obviously good moves, let alone the non-obvious great moves 
)! ….. Now for the philosophy question, if you have no clock, but it stops on weekends, and you pause it, and nobody is watching the game, and a tree falls on it, will anybody hear the ticking of the non-existing and paused clock?

Just tried creating a game with No Time Limits AND Pause on Weekends … but apparently the option “Pause on Weekends” doesn’t exist anymore for games w/o time limits!
Time Control: No time limits.
But the iOS App “Surround” just told me I have three more hours left, therefore I played a hasty move.
So, is this an OGS bug or a Surround bug?
Why would it?
Well, it DID exist at some time, and yes, it doesn’t make sense, just mentioned it because it existed way back – and IIRC either checking it, or NOT checking it, seemed to trigger non-timed games to time out.

We did this on purpose, i.e. we didn’t play more moves because we wanted to see whether this bug still exists.
Well, as @trohde wrote: “it DID exist [before]” (see above in this thread/discussion), AND by clicking on it (Pause on Weekends) the game would TRULY BE a NO time limit game, otherwise as @trohde and I discovered two days ago, a (supposedly) “no time limit game” actually DOES TIME OUT… So, it would be super-nice if the “Pause on Weekends” button was put back, or (better) the bug (which started this thread/conversation) was fixed.

footnote/clarification: please note that @trohde , in his last two messages above, references two games we (he and I) are playing, a 19x19 game NO time limit game in which the iOS App “Surround” told him he had only three hours left (so he moved), and the 9x9 game NO time limit game in which we intentionally stopped playing to see if it would time out (and it did)! - So there is potentially two bugs, but it might only be one and the iOS App “Surround” recognizes the time limit (that I’m not able to see because I only use the OGS website).
