Cancellations and why!?

@Groin

Here is the problem. How do you fix what has nothing to do with skills?

When you think your opponent’s cancel, resign, and timeout are unreasonable, report it and the moderator will make a judgment.

@Groin

I say, you start a game, don’t stop after that. Assume your choice and everyone will be happy.

I don’t think many players care about rankings.
A large number of players who will have their rankings canceled/resign for various reasons do not care at all that their rankings will drop as a result.
He left when he wanted and caused chaos in the ranking system.

@Groin

I still expect most players to be respectful and play their game they signed in.

I have a bunch of games where this opponent only plays a few moves, and then he never shows up on OGS and the game times out.
What is the significance of this kind of game ranking?

People who don’t respect the game won’t respect it, and they won’t respect it just because of the game’s ranking.

Actually moderators are trying to lower the quantity of reports. That grey area around the first moves is not helpful for that.

Yeah some don’t. But that will still be a progress.

Ok, may happen. Not a reason to let everyone jump out after a few moves.
