One possible reason to help someone out, without direct gain, is to expect something in return later, a quid pro quo.

Anybody else interested in re-visiting this format with simultaneous moves and preference lists of three moves?
I would like to play or be arbiter for another game, except that I would suggest communication to be limited to one public thread.
