I think she might be from this list, but I don’t recognize most of them.
Helen of Troy is excluded since Troy existed in modern day Turkey.
I’ll exclude Cleopatra and the Queen of Sheba, since she’s from Europe, but not the western part.

Well, the answer is actually the face that launched a thousand ships.
She may be known as “Helen of Troy” to you because of… I really don’t know how this came to be 
but nobody calls her that in Greece.
She was Helen of Sparta, very Greek and wife of the very Greek King of Sparta.

Ok, I’m thinking of a person, a living male.
Just a note, Troy was on the European side, so European continent always. We even refer to that part of Turkey as “European Turkey”. But yes, it is part of an Asian country now.
