Correct! Very good book which I would highly recommend, if the first paragraph of the prologue doesn’t hook you, I dare you not to get drawn in by the beginning of chapter 1.

EDIT: And mostly he’s called Gully Foyle in the book, for the record. But his full name is, indeed, Gulliver Foyle.

I’d still highly recommend “The Stars My Destination” if you are at all interested in scifi or cyberpunk, which “The Stars my Destination” is often cited as being a major codification of/inspiration for.
