Would anyone be interested in a free handicap tournament?
To avoid even games being boring, they would be played under opening freedom gentlemen’s rules.

Such games could only ever be unranked to avoid traumatising the ranking algorithm if I’ve understood.
In my opinion, the traditional handicap is already traumatizing a bit the rating although not in a so hard way. Rating free placement handicap won’t change much of that and put different rules with the same level of respect.
Now we can work to make the rating system as adequate as possible with different handicap systems
How to combine handicap and the opening freedom gentlemen’s rule?
The opening freedom rule would only be for even and perhaps one-stone games.
