Not entirely correct.
Correct would be, for new and paused subscriptions.
I just started to subscribe at different levels to see the difference.
Not knowing the new prices I jumped directly to mejin to take advantage of old prices.
But as we finally found, the price increase was minor and only for first two tiers. 
Anyway, even without testing, my intention was to subscribe only in the months when I am active.
So with this option I am an old subscriber with new price 
Anyway, the announcement was only an subtle push for those on verge of subscribing, but not yet decided. Old subscribers not being affected why bother them with anouncement?
