I am too stupid for this game

I don’t know. It is fun to think and play, but I cannot be sympathetic to my mistakes - they demonstrate my stupidity and I hate that part of myself.

I understand the psychology. I am just filling in for the people who punished me for mistakes when I was growing up.

It’s also helplessness because I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. I can study my games but I’m not good enough to know what the problems were.

Yesterday it was late at night and I lost to someone who had just signed up here, so I assumed I could not even beat someone who was a total newbie. That person probably wasn’t new to Go, of course.

Sorry for bothering everyone - perhaps this thread can be locked?

Thank you. I will keep these as reference materials. It’s probably better to do tsumego than constant 9x9 games. As I said above, it’s not being competent enough to know where I even made a mistake that is one big frustration.

tbh nothing wrong with this game, pretty comonn mistakes and throws, but honestly even dans from time to time do same on easier positions and in better time control, so try not to blame youself but just learn from your mistakes and go on.

its relies on the person, but try playing matches with slower time controls, probably will enchance your game + lighten up your mood `bout youself
