This is great, to this point I was not even aware that this was under consideration.
Not sure how I feel about the condescention, but yes this does ease the concern 
I should add that the reason I stated my concern here and now is I saw other suggestions in this thread like “no more invite notifications” on the site. Which also seem to affect the user experience/discoverability more than stopping spammers. I’m against going further in this direction.

I think this side-effect bug is fixed now.
So you can see the ones that are available
It’s only a small step in the bigger scheme of things - you can’t create more for your Group yet - but it’s “something” .
update: when “show all” is “off” I think its not showing what you’re expecting. I’m on it. At least it’s showing something
update: the “show all” button is working now, when it is “off” you are seeing only “open” tournaments.
still one glitch remaining, which is that on the tournament page it doesn’t say “open”. Fix coming for that too. At least the list is correct now
The “Tournament List” page is now working as it did before, as far as I know.
Next step is to re-enable creation of Open Group tournaments, with sending-invitations limited to group members.
