Anyway, now it’s OK, actually I’m keeping the Tournaments thingie and my profile card. I might even keep the new game triple button, if the review last game were optional.
Since the left column is taken by the new game thingie, it would be great if I could squeeze a third column of active games in there, when the triple button is not used.

The interactive-widget=resizes-content option in viewport might also be a good one to get in that’s related to viewport resizing. Many of our pages go crazy when the virtual keyboard pops up. For example, when I go to a chat, the bottom third of the page is hidden by the keyboard.

Yes exactly… so many good features but they’re all buried in their own pages. I neglect my Groups because I get right into playing games and don’t notice the speech counter up top.
I’ve largely left KGS, but something I always liked about the CGoban client was the English Game Room front-and-center on login. Easy to say hi and chat with whoever was online before jumping into a game.

Yes! And the main chats don’t even show up in that notification spot. I just tried and it takes SEVEN taps/gestures to navigate from the front page to the “English” chat on my phone. So of course I never go there even though it’s one of the more interesting parts of the site.
We could reduce that to one or zero.
I guess it’s three if you count scrolling as a gesture and you happen to use the English chat regularly.
I think the chat page remembers the last channel you had open, which I don’t think is a bad feature. It’s probably not one that should be removed to lower the number of taps to get to English specifically, especially if you don’t use it (not your first language, no interest compared to another group etc)
