No, it’s not only you, I fully agree. But it seems a large part of the OGS population disagrees. And so far I have not seen all those arguments that I find super-convincing convince many others. So I have accepted is as a fact that many do see it as an award system, no matter how wrong I think that is.

In which case we need an separate reward system. Like game trophies or something. A big one for beating someone stronger (in rank not in trophy number!) and a tiny one for whupping a noob…

Good point! I had in mind a collected group of trophies like the tourney ones that all all together on your profile.
