Simultaneous Fractional Go Game 1

Still trying to understand what’s going on this round lol. Only understood pinks’ moves so far.

I think Blue-Black can easily connect up to the Blue-White group in the K column now, by playing K7, and become almost impossible to kill. The Green-Black stone in my territory is also making it difficult to hold much of a border on the middle-right.

How about this - I’ll play N8, and maybe @yebellz can play N6 to remove the Green-Black stone and work towards connecting his groups. Then next round I’ll hope to play L8 while tricking Blue-Black into playing elsewhere.

Not sure where I should play. Any suggestions?

I don’t know, Blue-Black’s 1 choice is TO play tengen, so I don’t need help, I’ll just play right on K7.

I submitted M11 and will happily participate in removing one of the neighboring enemy groups next round if it’s still possible.

Round 48

Team Blue Green Pink
Black @Maharani: H10 @Jon_Ko: N9 @Vsotvep: K10
White @yebellz: N5 @Feijoa: M11 @terrific: P9

After placing all stones …

… there are a white and a blue chain without liberties containing L11. The blue chain (consisting of just one stone) is removed first, as the white chain contains a stone placed this round (M11). Furthermore N8 is also removed. New Position:

That’s a pretty hard to interpret capture…

Basically white filled it’s own last liberty, but by doing so white captured a blue stone, thus it was not suicide. But yes, it’s tricky, because the captured blue stone was white too.

I’m concerned about the black+blue groups in the center. I have a plan to save some of them, but I don’t know, if I want to disclose that one with so much time left for team white to react.
@Maharani and @Vsotvep how close to the deadline can you submit your move? Or do we not go down that road and just openly discuss our options?

I don’t see how else I can save my group, so I’ll play L11 and hope you guys know what we’re doing @terrific @yebellz

Seems obvious to me that I should play P10, but I haven’t submitted it yet.

EDIT: It’s possible that I may be captured even if I do that…!
EDIT 2: Or maybe not, now that I re-read it…?

I don’t consider this kind of approach to be sportsmanlike, to be honest.

I think this is necessary, yes.

Unless there is some coordination by the white team, I don’t think I have to fear capture of one of my groups in the centre, but just to be completely certain, I will play L11 to connect up and hopefully capture the white stones.

Still no clue what to expect in the end, but feels like the dust is slowly settling

May I ask how you read the situation? I think it was a little bit tricky.

Wait, maybe don’t answer yet.

As a spectator, can i request for black/white only and color only boards as were done at certain points in the past?
