We assume that gg means good game, but what if some people mean “git gud” by it? :thinking:

I for one have adopted the “good game” greeting at the beginning, with the intention of wishing us both a good game.

I find it an amusing coincidence that this morning I was reading this thread, and just now my opponent on one of the games I have in progress sent me this message: “I think it’s pretty safe to say I win this one. gg”. Problem is - it doesn’t seem so obvious to me that he’s winning…
