Here is an another alternative framing.
100 people are asked this question:
Would you like to gamble with your life on the line?
– No. (red)
– If yes (blue), then if 51+ people (including youself) also agree to gamble with their lives, then all 100 people will be safe, otherwise only the gamblers die.
If the word gambling was used (because that’s what it is), the problem would have been even easier to resolve.
